FUNDRAISING!

After everyone left it was only me and Ferran selling the muffins all over campus. I have to say running around with Ferran was an adventure to say the least! We pretty much harassed the entire campus trying to get them to buy our baked goods lol. We found out that the Psychology Department was probably the most welcoming. They showed the most interest in our traveling bake sale, probably because they were intrigued by our behavior so they may have been analyzing the situation, which in the end worked out for the best since they gave us their money :) Not so friendly was the Anthropology Department. We won't get into details but let's just say not very welcoming :/ As we were selling our products we were able to spread the word even more about our exhibition and people seemed really interested in it so we should have a big turn out! Overall today was a big success, we gather a total amount of $158 with a base of $30 so I think we make $128 in profit! Yay!

ATTENTION PEOPLE!

It is now sunday and I still don't have the measurements and quantity of pieces from Kristen, Hayley, Tristan and Ferran. Please guys answer the post. Even a slight idea would be sufficient to give us something to work with and know where to place you best. Don't wait until the last minute to answer. If we don't know what you are doing, then we will just have to "guesstimate" and you will have to accomodate yourself to those parameters. I can't stress enough that I have been adamantly asking for this information for some time. Just answer back!

LOFTS MEASUREMENTS

Ok guys so here it is! A few days ago we were able to get all the measurements from the room we will be working with. I hope this helps you picture the space that we will be hanging our pieces in. Now it is imperative that we get an idea of the sizes and amount of images you are looking to put in the show, this way me and Kenyatta are able to come up with two possible scenarios of arrangements for the rooms. Keep in mind if you do not tells us how big or how much you are looking to put in, you may not get what you want in the end. Overall we have 10 full walls to work with with and 2 small walls that could be used as possible extra space for someone who needs a little more room. Please don't take this inquire lightly, we need to know what you will be putting up (size and quantity) so that we can arrange the space properly.

Enjoy!

BLIND PHOTOGRAPHY?

While I was browsing through channels the other day I came across this documentary about photographers, blind photographers. I was hoping I was going to be able to find the documentary online but as of now all I found was the trailer for it. I hope that if you do have HBO maybe try to watch it. The documentary's name is Dark Light: The Art of Blind Photographers. It showcases the work of Pete Eckhert, Bruce Hall, and Henry Butler. It's about a 30 minute documentary so it's not too long. I hope you guys get a chance to watch it.
