JEFF CURTO

While doing a bit of homework from History of Photography I came across JEFF CURTO. I became instantly attracted to his work because he uses large format cameras and his work focuses on Italian architecture. Although he uses film his prints are inkjet. He scans his images in and later prints them on rag paper. Curto likes to play with layering the ancient and the contemporary. Another fun fact about him is that he attended Ansel Adams' last workshop!

Visit his website and enjoy his work.

  1. His videos are great as well, a nice simple and direct way of 'bringing to life' those large format images.

Which echos the sentiment that can be felt when literally in those spaces, not simple per se, but relaxed and timeless so this movement is appropriate.
