INSPIRATION

I realized I needed to start looking for some inspiration within the fashion world for my beauty project. I have come the conclusion that I need a lot more practice within the studio and my lighting techniques. I have always been really interesting in the fashion world and one of the main photographers that have caught my attention is Patrick Demarchelier. His ability to capture beauty is fascinating to me. His lighting technique is very similar to Richard Avedon. There is a richness to his images and he is not afraid to take risks within his medium. I think the most important thing is that he is not afraid of beauty itself and allows himself to get submerged within his concept and always pushes it forward.

    The Keith Richards one is great, I only now realized how far back he has been doing the fashion photography for Vogue and the like. Longer than I thought, time flies! Good finds.

    Patrick Demarchelier has some really nice photographs but I must say, his website was really difficult to get around. lol

    haha yeah his website is a bit confusing, but in the end I think it's worth it.
